La Asociación de Básquetbol de San Nicolás confirmó detalles importantes de cara a la temporada 2018 que se viene, y que se iniciará oficialmente el sábado 17 de marzo para las Inferiores y el 24 del mismo mes en la Primera Local.
En tanto, el Máxibásquet mantendrá su día domingo para centrar su programación y con mayor control por parte de la ABSN.
Otra novedad es que en Inferiores y en Primera se jugarán dos torneos. El Apertura llegaría a su fin el 9 de julio y el Clausura comenzaría el 4 de agosto (en el medio se producirá el receso invernal). En las divisiones menores, la grilla completa se desarrollará los sábados, sin excepciones.
A las 10.30 u 11.00 empezarán jugando los Sub-13, luego a las 13.00 y las 15.00 o 15.30 lo hará el Minibásquet (Cebollitas, Premini y Mini). A su término, jugarán los Sub-15, Sub-17 y Sub-19, en ese orden.
Se bajó Santamaría de Sánchez por motivos económicos e infraestructura, pero se sumó Mitre de San Pedro, que intervendrá desde Cebollitas hasta Sub-19. Se aprobó también que la Primera vaya los días sábados, al término de las formativas.
Se respetará el formato que se había elegido mantener el año pasado, con la A1 y la A2, donde habría once equipos.
En el primero de los grupos, donde estarán Belgrano, Regatas A, SOMISA A y B, Don Bosco y Defensores.
En la A-2, participarán Sacachispas, Riberas, La Emilia, Regatas B y Santamaría de Sánchez, que podría tomar el nombre de la Escuela Tato Landeuix. En principio, no competiría Sacachispas B.
Se resolvió que los juegos de la máxima categoría deberían programarse entre las 20.00 y las 21.30. Tanto en Inferiores como en Primera, no se permitirán suspensiones, o a lo sumo –sujeto a la aprobación de la ABSN, exponiendo las causas y con dos semanas de anticipación- se aprobará el adelanto de algunos encuentros.
Al menos eso fue el compromiso que asumieron los delegados de los clubes. En la semana previa al inicio de cada certamen, deberían presentarse las listas de Buena Fe.
