Los planteles femeninos de Belgrano y Automóvil vencieron a Club Azur de Neuquén y Handball San Luis, respectivamente. El elenco masculino de Regatas debió llegar hasta el alargue para poder imponerse a su homónimo de Mendoza, mientras que Belgrano tuvo que definirlo desde el punto penal ante Centenario de Neuquén. Este sábado los cuatro nicoleños juegan las semis.
Un viernes inolvidable vivieron los cuatro equipos de As.Bal.Nor. que llegaban a esta jornada con la ilusión de llegar a la lucha directa por un ascenso. Ganaron todos y este sábado van por el pasaje a la final y el ascenso. No se enfrentan, por lo que puede darse final nacional de equipos de San Nicolás en ambas ramas.
Todos los partidos serán transmitidos vía streaming y podrán verse en el canal de YouTube “Prensa AsBalNor”. De la misma manera, el domingo los terceros puestos y las finales también irán con transmisión vía streaming.
Por el lado femenino, Automóvil obtuvo un trabajado triunfo ante Handball San Luis y logró meterse entre los cuatro mejores del torneo. Fue 30-28, luego de un primer tiempo en el que se había ido al descanso perdiendo 13-14. Supo darlo vuelta con un muy buen aporte de Jennifer Geoghegan y Sofia Dziewa, ambas con 6 goles. También se destacaron Victoria Ocampos y Josefina Mucilli con 4 cada una. Este viernes a las 17:30, en cancha de Belgrano, juega por el pasaje a la final y el ascenso frente a Deportivo Goliat que venció 19-16 a Central Córdoba de Rosario.
Por su parte, Belgrano también logró meterse en semifinales, al ganarle 31-22 a Club Azur Balonmano de Neuquén. La figura del partido fue Brenda Marcone, que convirtió 10 goles para las de calle Pellegrini. También se destacaron Maiten Montero con 7 y Camila Caffiero con 5 tantos. Este viernes, en su cancha, Belgrano jugará contra Club Acha de Mar del Plata que derrotó a San Martin de Chaco 33-24, desde las 10 horas con la ilusión de llegar a la final y ascender.
En el ámbito masculino Belgrano y Balonmano Centenario de Neuquén protagonizaron uno de los partidos más emotivos del certamen. En un duelo muy parejo empataron en 24 en el tiempo regular. Fueron al alargue y la igualdad perduró cerrándose el juego con 27 goles por lado. Debieron acudir a la definición por penales, donde tras ir dos goles abajo el “rojo” lo dio vuelta y festejó. Juan Manuel fue la gran figura con 11 goles y Lucas Galvani atajó el penal decisivo para la clasificación. Ganó 31-30 y se metió en semifinales, donde este viernes desde las 19:15 en su cancha, enfrentará a Pugil Landini de San Juan, que le ganó 26-25 a Ferro de Concordia.
Regatas también tuvo que trabajar duro y sufrir para meterse entre los cuatro mejores y en la lucha por un ascenso. Luego de empatar en 27 en el tiempo regular, en el alargue los de “la ribera” sacaron el plus y sacaron una diferencia irremontable. Lo ganaron 31-28, con 8 goles de Martin Rafart que fue el máximo anotador del equipo. También fueron claves los 6 goles por lado de Agustín Lasalle y Hernan Carugatti. Mañana a partir de las 15:45 chocan con Chaco For Ever que venció 26-25 a Gimnasia de Montecarlo, en cancha de Belgrano, por el ascenso y el pase a la final.
Cabe destacar que con su pasaje a semifinales, los cuatro equipos de As.Bal.Nor. tendrán dos chances de conseguir un ascenso, ya que son 3 los que reparte este torneo por rama. Si los resultados se dan, el domingo puede haber finales nacionales exclusivamente de nicoleños, e incluso con clásico de la ciudad incluido.
En cuanto a Don Bosco, el equipo femenino dirigido por Omar Allegri jugó dos partidos en la jornada de viernes, buscando la novena posición en el torneo: el primero lo ganó sin problemas, 35-12 sobre Juventud del Chaco, donde se destacaron Sofia Ghiotti con 12 y Alma Rubiola con 9 goles por lado. En el otro juego cayó 23-30 con Tiro Federal de Bahía Blanca, por lo que este sábado desde las 10 de la mañana en cancha de CASBA jugará su último partido, ante Chaco For Ever por la undécima posición.
