La temporada 2018 de los torneos de la Asociación de Hockey del Litoral viene con modificaciones, introduciendo diferentes cambios en sus torneos, apuntando a darles mayores posibilidades de ascenso a los clubes que vienen desde abajo. En este 2018, el certamen se dividirá en dos partes y ofrecerá innumerables variantes a sus participantes.

Una vez finalizada esa ronda de partidos, el primero será considerado campeón del Litoral A, y los cuatro mejores comenzarán el 2019 jugando en la máxima categoría.
El mismo sistema se aplicará en las restantes categorías: los ubicados del 9° al 12° lugar del Litoral B se juntarán con los ocho mejores del Litoral C (donde juega Belgrano) para definir al campeón del Litoral B. Y los últimos cuatro del Litoral C se juntarán con los primeros ocho del Litoral D para definir al campeón del Litoral C.
En ese reordenamiento, que se dará a mitad de temporada de acuerdo a las posiciones, no estará se aplicará la norma que impide a más de dos representantes de un club jugar en la misma categoría. Sin embargo, sí se aplicará una vez terminado el año y elaborado un ranking general de la AHL.
En ese ordenamiento, los 12 primeros jugarán la Línea A del 2019, del 13 al 24 jugarán la Línea B, del 25 al 36 la línea C y los restantes la línea D. Un año con muchos cambios, muchas modificaciones y muchos encuentros, en una temporada exigente para los elencos nicoleños.
