Este viernes por la mañana mediante una conferencia de prensa en el buffet del Club Regatas, se presentó oficialmente el cuadrangular del Argentino U-19 de Clubes organizado por la Confederación Argentina de Básquetbol (CABB), que se disputara en nuestra ciudad en las instalaciones del club náutico los días 18, 19 y 20 de agosto.
Dicha conferencia estuvo encabezada por el presidente de la entidad de la Ribera doctor Pablo Capritoti, el presidente de la Asociación de Básquet San Nicolás, Miguel Amarillo, el entrenador Pablo Dastugue y Miguel Turchi miembro de la subcomisión náutica.
La máxima autoridad del club dijo que es un orgullo realizar este certamen ya que es muy importante para nuestra ciudad, también para la entidad al cumplir 125 años de su fundación y un premio al esfuerzo del básquet, a los chicos y al cuerpo técnico de la entidad que podrán demostrar sus progresos ante su masa societaria como locales.
El presidente también agradeció al apoyo del gobierno municipal y su director de deportes Daniel Luchelli que sin su aporte habría sido muy difícil que se organizara el cuadrangular en la ciudad.
También el entrenador Pablo Dastugue dijo que el certamen será muy difícil por la valía de los planteles que intervendrán ya que hay unos cuantos jugadores que representan al seleccionado argentino en la categoría U19 y espera estar a la altura del esfuerzo que hizo la entidad para que este se desarrolle en el club y que será un premio espectacular para los chicos ya que podrán ser acompañados por sus familias y amigos en este importante torneo.
En este cuadrangular ademas de Regatas, participaran Argentino de Pergamino, Obras Sanitarias y Boca Juniors de Capital Federal.
El sistema de disputa será todos contra todos, donde clasificaran los dos primeros equipo para la fase final.
La programación del cuadrangular sera en doble jornada arrancando el viernes a las 18:45 con el partido de Obras Sanitarias y Boca Juniors para luego cerrar la primer jornada a las 21:00 con el partido entre Regatas y Argentino de Pergamino
