En el último partido de la doble jornada San Nicolás no pudo ante Olavarria al caer por 69 a 67, pero continua con chances de quedarse con el titulo provincial cuando se enfrente este domingo desde las 10:30 ante Chivilcoy de quedarse con la victoria San Nicolás en la última fecha San Nicolás se coronara campeón de la provincia después de 16 años.
Los nicoleños estuvieron a un paso de la victoria ante Olavarria despues de levantar una desventaja de 14 puntos en el tercer cuarto, pero el cansancio de haber disputado 3 encuentros muy duros ante Bahia Blanca (75 a 69), Mar del Plata (73 a 72) y La Plata (69 a 65) les jugo una mala pasada en el cierre del juego y esta vez la balanza se inclino para el conjunto de Olavarria que estuvo mas lucido en el final.
