LOS “CASCOS NARANJAS” IMPLEMENTAN EL “PASAPORTE BIOLÓGICO”
El Equipo Continental de ciclismo de la Provincia de Buenos Aires “Cascos Naranjas” comenzó a implementar los parámetros del llamado “pasaporte biológico”, que es el resultado de una serie de análisis periódicos que permiten determinar el perfil hematológico y urinario del atleta, abriendo nuevas vías en la lucha contra el dopaje.
Los “Cascos Naranjas” se convierten en el primer equipo argentino en implementar este sistema, y uno de los pocos dentro de su categoría a nivel mundial, buscando transmitir los valores del juego limpio y la lealtad deportiva y poniéndose a la par de otros conjuntos y deportistas de elite internacional.
“Es importante que nuestros deportistas demuestren transparencia en las competencias y que dejen en claro que para ganar no es necesario tomar sustancias prohibidas. La victoria se consigue con esfuerzo, trabajo, dedicación y disciplina, sin necesidad de acudir a conductas deshonestas, señaló Nicolás Scioli, vicepresidente ejecutivo del Grupo Provincia, institución que coordina las acciones de este equipo.
Para este trabajo se ha designado como responsable médico del equipo al doctor Néstor Lentini, ex director médico del Cenard, actual médico del Comité Olímpico Argentino y director de la carrera de médico especialista en medicina del Deporte de la UBA.
Con la implementación del método del “Pasaporte biológico”, los “Cascos Naranjas pretenden ser un ejemplo para jóvenes que quieran practicar cualquier deporte”, expresó Nicolás Scioli. Y agregó que “uno de los basamentos fundamentales para disminuir drásticamente la tendencia del consumo de drogas en el ciclismo y en el deporte en general, es lograr la unión de todos: el estado, los deportistas, la familia, los dirigentes y la opinión pública”.
El Gobernador Daniel Scioli dio impulso a este equipo internacional de ciclismo que tiene a las promesas de este deporte y es liderado por el campeón olímpico, Wálter Pérez, apuntando a la participación de jóvenes de la Provincia de Buenos Aires en los próximos Juegos Panamericanos de Toronto 2015 y los Juegos Olímpicos de Río de Janeiro 2016. También pretende así generar nuevos referentes que puedan competir en los circuitos nacionales e internacionales en esta disciplina
